Columnset error is gone in 2.16 beta -- Thanks, Hans. But there still seems to be a problem in the output routine: if I place a font switch like \bf or \ss at the beginning of a paragraph that falls in the first column of my columnset, that column is suppressed and only the second column is typeset. Updated to Feb. 8 beta, now none of my documents with columnsets will compile. Without the columnset, the example below works fine:
