[NTG-context] inserting additional text into BibTeX cites

Hi m-bib users, I might have overlooked this, but how can I insert "arbitrary" text inside a \cite[]? I want to put page numbers inside the occasional citation (for verbatim quotations). I currently cite in authoryears format (Hoekwater, 1999), but for some citations would like to insert text of the form (Hoekwater, 1999, pp. 5--9). Can it be done? What have I ignored?
