#1 Is there any way to instruct ConText, when using "itemize"  with multiple columns to specify the number, X columns.  In this case I want three

#2 Is there any way to turn off a bullet character/symbol?

Here is a vacabulary list example?:

--------------------------------

\setuppapersize[letter]
\starttext
  \startitemize[columns,joinedup,packed]
     \item ability
     \item absorb
     \item accuse
     \item act
     \item active
     \item actual
     \item adopt
     \item advantage
  \stopitemize
\stoptext

--------------------------------
