Let me ask you another thing, how can I avoid messing up the line spacing by using \sqrt and \frac, the line that follows these has increased line spacing in the pdf output code: Find the normal and shearing stresses on an oblique plane defined by $l=\sqrt{\frac{3}{13}}$, $m=\sqrt{\frac{1}{13}}$, and $n=\sqrt{\frac{9}{13}}$.
