It seems to me, that the label.xx mechanism is completely broken.

the results of label, label.rt and label.lft are exactly the same if i set
labeloffset := 0bp ;

(default is 3bp)

Just updated, to make sure I have the latest.

I see the problems. 

top & bottom labels are not centered correctly

bottom label not low enough

left and right labels are not aligned at the same height
