In 10.10 it was the version packaged by ubuntu like in my 11.04. But before
reproting the bug to ubuntu, I would like to ask here if there is nothing to
do...
I will try the standalone version if no solution was found here.

Was your 10.10 install a standalone distribution, or Ubuntu's repackaged texlive? If it was standalone, then it seems likely that 11.04 has installed an ubuntu-repackaged texlive itself, that is now overriding the correct installation.
If both installs were ubuntu packages, perhaps you should complain to the Ubuntu people.
