Hi, please have a look at this (probably ugly) code: \starttext \definestartstop[MyFootNote] [before={\footnote},after={}] \def\startFN[#1]{\startMyFootNote\ignorespaces} \def\stopFN{\stopMyFootNote} This is a \startFN[65] test \stopFN and this is another \startFN[B65] test \stopFN. \stoptext What is need in the definition for \stopFN in order to keep the space when needed (see before "and")?
