Hello, In the latest beta, postponing seems to be broken (or changed). Minimal example: \starttext \input tufte (see \in{figure}[fig:cow].) \startpostponing [+0] \startplacefigure [location=here, reference={fig:cow}, title={A cow that does not break the paragraph}] \externalfigure [cow] [width=.5\textwidth] \stopplacefigure \stoppostponing \input tufte \stoptext Explanation: In order to have figures placed near their first reference in the text, and to avoid the paragraph break that results from placefigure, I enclose it in between \startpostponing[+0]\stoppostponing. In the latest beta, all the figures (and their references) disappear. Using a slightly older version ConTeXt ver: 2012.06.28 10:00 MKIV fmt: 2012.6.28 int: english/english this works (but the figure in the minimal example above gets pushed to the following page?). Alan
