This message is to record my thanks to Thomas A.Schmitz for the solution to my font flop, and to Otared Kavian and Hans Hagen for helpful comments. I've planted the solution in the context garden at http://contextgarden.net/Talk:My_Way.
Well, the font-problem is not related to my-ways and not realted to Mac in general. More to the fact that you are using a tetex/miktex/whatevertex and not the minimal ConTeXt distribution from Hans' site. A nice page on the wiki would be more appropriate I think.
