\cdots works with unicode fonts (cambria, stix, euler). For LM add the following in your file:
\definemathcommand [cdots] [inner] {\cdotp\cdotp\cdotp}
I am not sure how to fix this in the core. Create exceptions for each font?
if it's a proper unicode symbol i can make a virtual glyph for it
It is: 0x22EF (that is what \cdots works with cambria et al) Aditya
