Hi Hans, In recent beta's, this produces an extra 's' at the start of the entry in the first column: \starttext \starttabulate[|lf\ss|p|] \NC alignment \NC a (partial) alignment is being added \NC\NR \stoptabulate \stoptext Best wishes, Taco
