gives (A..1)
But I need (A-1)!
Any idea how the key is called to change this?
You can change the separator between the section prefix and the formula number with \setupformula[prefixconnector=-].
Is there also a key for a own prefix, eg. "my": (my-1)?
It’s not a prefix but you can set a labeltext.
\setupformula[prefix=no]
\setuplabeltext[formula=Steffen-]

\chapter{Chapter}
\placeformula
\startformula
c^2 = a^2 + b^2

i was looking for a key within setupformula, and didn't think of formula within setuplabetext!
