This way you "print" [letter,landscape] on [letter,landscape] not on A4 spread to 11 in width.
Make sure you always use \setuppapersize[][] with two arguments. Perhaps Hans could correct me, but as far as I can see (had no look into the source) the second argument defaults to [A4] when empty.
