Hello, I created a simple file which derives head style 'subsectionX' from 'subsection'. The only difference is the the latter has 'align=middle'. --- \setuphead[subsection,subsubject][style=\bfa] \setuphead[chapter,title, section, subject, subsection, subsubject, subsubsection, subsubsubject] [distance=1.5em] \definehead[subsectionX][subsection] \setuphead [subsectionX] [align=middle] \starttext \subsection{Model} \subsectionX{Model} \stoptext --- The problem is that the space between the subsection number and the text differs (and it doesn't depend on whether 'distance' was set to '1.5em' or not). You can also see the picture with measured values. Why this effect? And how to make both distances equal? Kind regards, Lukas -- Ing. Lukáš Procházka [mailto:LPr@pontex.cz] Pontex s. r. o.
