"first setup" worked well before I upgrade Mac OS to Mountain Lion from snow leopard two weeks ago.

I'm clueless. The system Darwin X86_64 is definitely supported and it should work without problems on Mountain Lion (apart from maybe complaining gatekeeper which is not the case here). Maybe it's a problem in the shell? Mojca
