After setting ‘\toks0’ it cannot be accessed through ‘tex.toks’. Now, what’s so peculiar about this is that ‘tex.toks[0]’ carries a string from -- ‘thrd-tab.tex’‽
Any explanation? Did I miss something important? Thanks for any help,
