As suggested by Hans, here is an archive with the tex file I used for the tests and the resulting "-mpgraph" PDF file (plus all the logs and stuff). It looks OK, but when I use "pstoedit -f mpost" (v3.50 with gs v8.70), only e, m and c from the formula are in the resulting metapost code. I will try with pstoedit v3.45 later today. For mkiv, I suspect that gs has some problems with pdfs made by context
