[NTG-context] compression not working in linenotes

      Dear list,

I don’t get compressed linenotes with this source:

    \setuppapersize[A5]
    \setupnote[linenote][paragraph=yes]
    \setupnotation[linenote]
        [alternative=serried, compress=yes, compressseparator=]
    \starttext
    \startlinenumbering
    \dorecurse{100}{text\linenote{variant} }
    \stoplinenumbering
    \stoptext

Am I missing something or is it a bug?
