but NOT this: \starttabulate[|p|p|]\NC \starttable[|c|c|] \HL \VL Y \VL P \VL \SR \HL \stoptable \NC TEXT \NC\NR\stoptabulate
put the table in { } but maybe better is to use \bTABLE ... \eTABLE
