Works here too, MacOSX 10.7.2. That is, I installed the latest context beta. If it might help: I have a directory ~/TeX/context containing the following two files:

Attachments:

contextbeta.bin (application/octet-stream — 175 bytes)
ATT00001.txt (text/plain — 1 byte)
first-setup.sh (application/octet-stream — 3.5 KB)
ATT00002.txt (text/plain — 707 bytes)
