At least mtxrun.exe should work with older Windows versions!
So I could do
mtxrun --script ./bin/mtx-update.lua --force --update --make -- context=2012-12-09 --texroot=%CONTEXTROOT% %*
to fetch an older version.
I have tried this on a XP machine, but I got LuaTeX 0.79.1 and context 2013.11.01 (which I had bevor the mtxrun on that machine). I also tried the above command without the --update option. But same result. Wolfgang
