Hi, Same subject as in my previous post but a new question: On the ConTeXt wiki-page Command\index one finds:
\index[...][...][…] […] text […] text […] text
What is the first argument for? Could it somehow be used to provide a key?
The key is used allow proper alphabetization of the entries, also for alternate formatting of some entries. I do not know about three (or two) argument variants. \index{entry} \index[key]{entry} \index[form::]{entry} \index[form::key]{entry} \index{form::entry} \index[key]{form::entry} \index[form::]{form::entry} \index[form::key]{form::entry} (p.176 of The Manual) -- Alan Braslau CEA DSM-IRAMIS-SPEC CNRS URA 2464 Orme des Merisiers 91191 Gif-sur-Yvette cedex FRANCE tel: +33 1 69 08 73 15 fax: +33 1 69 08 87 86 mailto:alan.braslau@cea.fr
