With the new beta you can add
\defineconversion[continued][{},{ (continued)},{ (continued)},{ (continued)},{ (continued)},{ (continued)}]
\setupfloatsplitting[conversion=continued]
to your document, this will give the desired result for the numbering.
clever trick ... I added an example to the testbed
Maybe a predefined conversion for this wouldn’t be too bad but we need then a better variant like this:
\def\continued#1% {\labeltext{\ifcase#1\or\else continued\fi}} % \v!continued
\defineconversion[continued][\continued]
\setuplabeltext[en][continued={ (continued)}]
ok, added but I've used \continuednumber as it is less likely to clash
BTW: \setupcaptions (str-flt.mkiv) needs as default argument for suffiseparator a “.”, it’s currently empty.
it depends, I was under the impression that 1a 1b ... 1z made more sense as default than 1.a ... (in order to distinguish from number by section cases) maybe it's more fun to make continues the default conversion (and a separator would look funny then) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | voip: 087 875 68 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
