All-
Sorry if this is simple – I have searched but not
found an answer. New to ConTeXt, not LaTeX.
Given:
% output=pdftex
% environment file
\setuppapersize[A4]
\setuplist[chapter,section][chapternumber=yes]
\setuppagenumbering[location={header,right},way=bysection,chapternumber=yes]
\setupsectionblock[frontpart][page=no]
\setupsectionblock[bodypart][page=no]
\setupsectionblock[appendix][page=no]
\setupsectionblock[backpart][page=no]
\mainlanguage[en]
\starttext
\startfrontmatter
\completecontent
\stopfrontmatter
\startbodymatter
\chapter[ch1]{Chapter 1}
\section{Chapter 1/Section 1}
Text.
\page
Text.
\stopbodymatter
\stoptext
Questions:
1.
What controls the page number that appears above the
table of contents? It currently shows “1”.
2.
Why does the page number on the last page not include
the chapter? It currently shows “2”.
Reading over some past posts I can postulate that the page
numbering is being reset before the last page has been output. But no matter
where I put my “setuppagenumbering” command the first page and last
page don’t seem to be affected. Better said, they are affected but not in
the way I would expect… J
What am I not seeing? Log file attached.
Thanks,
-Bryant
