This is LuajitTeX, Version beta-0.78.1-2014010416 (TeX Live 2013/dev)
makes the format okay.

Sorry if I’m wrong, but I think that the issue here may be caused by this older version (the one provided with linux [Linux 32-bit]). This is what I get when I run the luatex binary:
