\typebuffer matching a \definetyping

Hi, I have \definetyping[MyTEX] [option=tex, margin=0.2in, before={\blank[2pt]\blank[disable]}, after={}, tab=8, ] so that I can later use \startMyTEX ... \stopMyTEX to get the typing set up as I like. So far so good. However, I would like to use the identical options with \typebuffer. I had hoped that somehow I would be able to use something like \typebuffer[SomeBuffer][option=MyTEX] but that (and various other things I tried) doesn't work. For now I am using \typebuffer[SomeBuffer][option=tex, margin=0.2in, before={\blank[2pt]\blank[disable]}, after={}, tab=8,] but it would be nice to not have the same set of options in multiple places, and also nice not to have to have 5 lines of code where I would like only 1. Q: is there some way I can instruct \typebuffer to use the MyTEX typing options? Thanks. Jim

remote images

Hi again, I tried to access a remote SVG, but it doesn’t work: \externalfigure[https://chaospost.de/img/logo_header.svg][method=svg,conversion=mp] … while this works: \externalfigure[https://cataas.com/cat/says/Mooh!][method=jpg] \externalfigure[https://www.dreiviertelhaus.de/media/images/2021/01/3vh_logo_4_midcol_qAf5i3i.png] In the wiki, remote images don’t work any more, this might be a security setting. minwidth on \setupfloat

Hi, list! I’m trying to make all my floats have the same width (regardless of the width of the image inside). In the wiki I saw there is a minwidth option, but it doesn’t work for me. In strc-flt.mkvi <https://source.contextgarden.net/strc-flt.mkvi>, on line 1389, I saw it says \edef\p_minwidth{\floatparameter\c!minwidth}%, but I haven’t seen \c!minwidth listed as a parameter of \setupfloats (it is for \setupcaptions). I’d like to know whether I’m reading something wrong or doing something wrong. For now, Max suggested using command={\framed[width=broad, offset=1em, boffset=-4pt]} (or command={\framed[width=broad, offset=1em]}). Thank you! Jonatán

Automatic conversion of straight quotes to curly quotes

Can someone remind me please what setting controls the automatic conversion of a straight apostrophe to a right-hook curly one? I have a macro that quotes its content and last June or so it inserted straight quotes as I wanted. Now they are being converted which I don't want. I've not knowingly made a change other than update to new releases and the macro is in an environment file which I haven't changed in ages. — Bruce Horrocks Hampshire, UK

Hi fellows ! I am returning to you with some XML-TEI issues. I am trying to produce a MWE that shows how to handle the literary analysis of versification and how to typeset the results properly. \mathboxanchored sets text color to black

Dear list, I noticed that \mathboxanchored overwrites the text color with black. The color switches back to normal after a \stopcolor. Please find a minimal example attached, tested with ConTeXt LMTX version 2025.12.05 17:46. Is this intended behavior, or a bug? Best wishes, Jacob Kauffmann

How to set breakpoint at cjk and non-cjk char?

Dear list, \setscript[hanzi] fails to find a break point for the following example: ``` \mainlanguage[cn] \setscript[hanzi] \definefontfamily[mainfont][rm][simsun] % other chinese fonts should work too \setupbodyfont[mainfont] \starttext \dorecurse{50}{口abc口123} \stoptext ``` How can one specify break point at cjk and non-cjk char pairs? Subfloatnumbering not working as expected
