0. [Meta-bug]: please make it easier to report bugs with the web site. I had to sign up for this mailing list; many people may not want to merely to report things like: 1. On roadmap.html, "cummunity" → "community" 2. Under "Objectives and Status", roadmap.html talks about already-released versions in the future tense. Please fix this. 3. faq.html: "learned us" should be "taught us" (this changed in English in the last few hundred years, but the web page may predate that change :) ) 4. sponsoring.html: "Thanks to this sponsoring" → "Thanks to this sponsorship" 5. swiglib.html: "Januari" → "January"; "Februari" → "February" 6. languages.html: "persistant" → "persistent"; "openess" → "openness" 7. index.html "projects main" → "project's main"; "as stable an" → "as stable and" -- http://rrt.sc3d.org

It's disappointing to see that these easy-to-fix typos have not been. Another one is on the welcome page: "it's benefits" → "its benefits". -- http://rrt.sc3d.org

Great! Or, use a wiki, or put the pages in a repo to which one can submit pull requests. Less time spent all round.

using (and keeping up) a wiki makes no sense as this site is only a lightweight entry point; there are regular tex mailing lists and wikis for more in depth information; the website mostly served a purpose in the beginning (and is normally only updated when we do a release); eventually the site might even go away (also, luatex and related development already take most of our time) Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | voip: 087 875 68 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

Of course, as it should! That's why it's a pity I have to bother you to make these trivial changes. -- http://rrt.sc3d.org
