Hi, I've just committed a new version of luatex that has the official lua51 library and the pdftex-1.40.0-beta-20060213. There is no new functionality except that the lua IO and OS libraries now should work as advertised. This is the first of a series of commits to come in the coming weeks. Aside from Hans' requests for functionality, I intend to change the engine & executable name to 'luatex', and embed the pool file. More about that later . Cheers, taco
