Hello, since LuaTeX only reads files in UTF-8 encoding, other encodings have to be converted. Taco provided the necessary code in his mail of the 09 December 2006, but only for ISO-Latin-2. The mappings for other encodings are available from Unicode.org, though, at http://www.unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS/. Maybe you already know this. Maybe it helps. Jonathan
