After some initial confusion, and one bug fix, I have now successfully run the whole suite. In addition, I have added tests for verifying the generated DVI and PDF files, which I compare against textlive 2016. @Hans: I am still very much interested in the test suite you mentioned in your reply a week ago. /Lars ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lars Hamrén Svensk Datorutveckling Vadmöllan 211 WWW: www.sdu.se S-225 94 Lund Mobile: +46(705)189090 Sweden

it's of no much use to you as it assumes context mkiv and i never run / ran it with anything else that luatex and i haven't' used dvi in ages either .. fwiw the files can be downloaded as part of context Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | www.pragma-ade.nl | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

Great. Thank you! I will try it. Cheers /Lars Hamren
Hi,
Test suite is at http://www.pragma-ade.nl/context/latest/cont-tst.7z

Is this as expected?
Yes ... only free fonts are in the distribution (e.g. there are tests with cambria and lucidat that are likely to fail to unless some fallback math font kicks in but some files are doing more dorect magic).
Is compiling each of the .tex file the right way to use the test suite?
Normally some 10-20 will fail due to fonts not on your system (or special fonts).
I also tried with TeX Live 2016, but that gave roughly twice as many errors.
Those probably use new functionality.
For testing I used unmodified distributions, with the original luatex binaries.
That's ok, the latest greatest context garden version is the reference. Ok. That seems to explain all but one or two errors. I will just move those tests out of harms way. 1369 test should suffice for now :-) Cheers /Lars ------------------------------------------------------------------- Lars Hamrén WWW...: www.sdu.se Vadmöllan 211 Mobile: +46(705)189090 S-225 94 Lund Sweden
