Hello,
under a stable Gentoo I got for dev-tex/luatex-0.63.0 :
... * QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile * fine but exhibit random runtime failures. * luatexdir/luafontloader/fontforge/fontforge/nouiutil.c:49: warning: attempt to free a non-heap object 'buffer'
That function is never actually called, but thanks for the report anyway. I'll add a small patch to get rid of the notice (pending ultimate removal of the entire NOUI code).
Please tell me, what is the tool that generates this QA Notice?
Hi Taco, these messages come from portage, Gentoo's package tool. I've put the latest release on my server: http://ms25.ath.cx/portage-2.1.9.25.tar.bz2 The message above is defined in bin/misc-functions.sh Regards, Reinhard -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reinhard Kotucha Phone: +49-511-3373112 Marschnerstr. 25 D-30167 Hannover mailto:reinhard.kotucha@web.de ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Microsoft isn't the answer.
