In texlive 2022 there is no problem.
seen it, I will check it this weekend
( sorry, not checked yet ).
Probably related to [Dev-luatex] linkarea wrong in TRT context
?
This seems still to be wrong in texlive 2024.
Indeed, we missed it , but it's too late for this TL.
It's tricky code , and we already have these new security controls that can
break backward compatibility -- enough for this TL.

We will see it asap.
