Hi, strc-mat sets: \def\beforedisplayspace {\doifnot{\formulaparameter\c!spacebefore}\v!none{\blank[\formulaparameter\c!spacebefore]}} \def\afterdisplayspace {\doifnot{\formulaparameter\c!spaceafter}\v!none{\blank[\formulaparameter\c!spaceafter ]}} Other environments that provide spacebefore and spaceafter keys (delimiters, floats), do not check if the key is none. I don't really understand why this check is done. Can we delete this check? Aditya
