Re: [dev-context] [Fwd: Re: Debian Context Font problems]
Hi,
Here a short report: The following file:
Thank you for the concise note. I'd be glad if I could have also the screen shots, unless preparing them is too cumbersome and time-consuming for you. Cheers -- Jacko -- BOP s. c. ul. Here are 4 images:
xpdf-kpdf-100.png
xpdf-kpdf-125.png
xpdf-kpdf-150.png
xpdf-kpdf-200.png
the LEFT part always shows the xpdf screenshot, the RIGHT part always
the kpdf screenshot. The number gives the resolution step. It lies in
the nature of the screenshot that the images are not bigger, sorry. But
I guess it is obious what is going wrong, and that xpdf behaves much
better in all 4 shrink-factors.
Best wishes
Norbert

Did anybody send a bug report to the kpdf maintainers yet? This looks suspiciously like a bug (aka optimization) in kpdf. Best, Taco

"xpdf -t1lib no test.pdf" gives the same display errors as kpdf, so kpdf is ruled out. I'm out of my depth here but does this mean that lm math font and the freetype rasterizer don't get along? --Mike Bird
