Hi all!
I have uploaded texlive 2007-2 packages to the tug server. I have done
the usual test runs (installing/removing etc), and have the packages
running on my laptop and various documents processed fine.
I will wait another day (ie till tomorrow evening) until uploading the
whole bunch to Debian/unstable.
If someone wants to test it, please give it a try.

Thanks a lot and all the best

I apt-getted them and they work fine here on my usual tests, which include a 160+-page book in ConTeXt and having many MetaPost figures. I'm running Ubuntu 6.10 (i386), with a locally built texlive-base-bin-2007-1 that uses the included xpdf code instead of libpoppler. I should probably rebuild it, but it seems like the changes from -1 to -2 won't do anything to the base-bin. -Sanjoy `Not all those who wander are lost.' (J.R.R. Tolkien)

Thanks for the feed back.

Definitely. The only main difference is the addition of dvipos(.1) to
texlive-extra-utils (build from texlive-bin source), some fixes for
misplaced files in upstream, and fixes for config file handling at
upgrade time from 2005.
Best wishes
