Hi, for the last versions I get hundreds(?) of these lines when generating format file: -------------------------------------------------- (/opt/context/current/texmf/tex/context/patterns/lang-pl.hyp)pdfetex: Not writing to ../type-exa (openin_any = p). pdfetex: Not writing to ../../type-exa (openin_any = p). Patrick, are you on tex-k? This message is confusing, it should say: Not reading from ../type-exa (openin_any = p). right? Perhaps a bug report is in order. Btw, I would not even have expected context to work correctly with openin_any = p ;-) Stuff like \environment etc. uses parent and grandparent. Taco Patrick Gundlach wrote:

No. Ask me again in a few minutes :-)

It is definately confusing.

I wouldn't dare to run texexec on contextgarden without being [in] paranoid [mode]. It used to work fine (I don't use parent and grandparend path searching on garden). Patrick -- ConTeXt wiki and more: http://contextgarden.net

-) actually, i think that parent should be supported as long as it's the same user, i.e. it would be better if there was check on write permissions than on path composition Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------
