Which variables on this list are still needed? only mpmems? MFBASES = .;$TEXFORMATS MPMEMS = .;$TEXFORMATS TEXPOOL = .;$TEXFORMATS MFPOOL = .;$TEXFORMATS MPPOOL = .;$TEXFORMATS
from texmf.cnf, and $TMP doesn't exist on mac, Which is odd, to say the least. Where *do* temporary files go on OSX?
To /tmp, but there is no $TMP or $TEMP defined anywhere. Mojca
