Something is broken in the interaction between metapost and mkiv. The minimal example here gives me an empty pdf.

The metapost figure is created, but for some reason not is not being included. Doing an explicit \externalgraphics[filename-mpgraph.1] gives

mp-test-mpgraph.1 !luaTeX error: internal error: unknown image type ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!

I am using luatex snapshot-0.23.0-2008031110 and ConTeXt 2008.03.04

Works here without problems.

Thanks for checking. Must be something wrong in my setup. I tried 2008.03.11 but I can't get get the latest luatex to run with mkiv (?:0 attempt to index global 'tex' (a nil value)) :( Aditya
