I found what looks like a bug in ConTeXt: when using columns, a \blank[medium,fixed] near the end of the column/page can cause the following text to overlap with existing text.

In the minimal reproducible example below, the word "Signature" is printed on top of the preceding column instead of being placed after the blank space :
